Panel discussion session
"Meet & Greet" Panel Discussion
Join us for an exclusive panel with Indigenous Taiwanese TV/film crew, led by actress Ado Kaliting Pacidal. Hosted by the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) and organized by NZTW Global Sourcing Connection, this event follows their visit to New Zealand for a documentary on the musical connections between the Amis tribe and Māori culture.
Ado and her team will share insights into Amis heritage and present a first look at her new film, Ru-Ni and Kupe. The discussion will highlight Taiwan’s role as an Austronesian cultural hub and the genetic ties between Taiwanese Indigenous peoples and Māori.
This gathering offers a unique opportunity for NZ film producers and industry professionals to connect and collaborate with Ado and her team.
